You’re the kind of trusted advisor who turns ambiguous business and technical challenges into clear, durable outcomes — from executive strategy through hands-on delivery. At Oxalis, that’s exactly who we need!
Location & Work Mode
Hybrid — based in or near one of our hub cities (Portland, Seattle, Austin, Bay Area, SoCal, Chicago, St. Louis, New York, or NCR/D.C. metro), with periodic visits to that hub. Expect additional periodic travel to client and company sites, including controlled or secure facilities.
What You’ll Own
Engagement ownership — lead engagements end-to-end: discovery, architecture, configuration, rollout, adoption, and post-go-live support, moving fluidly between Engagement Lead, Pursuit Lead, Solution Lead, and Relationship Lead responsibilities as the work requires
Problem framing & solution design — listen carefully to surface the real problem behind the stated one, analyze processes and systems, and design tailored solutions aligned with customer goals
Executive & technical communication — translate complex technical and operational concepts into clear recommendations for executive, technical, and end-user audiences, and produce high-quality customer-facing deliverables
Structured problem-solving under ambiguity — frame nuanced client challenges as testable hypotheses, design lightweight validation approaches, and synthesize conflicting stakeholder inputs into coherent, buy-in-earning solution directions
Delivery leadership — own delivery performance against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and margin; manage risks and stakeholder expectations; lead workshops, design sessions, and executive readouts
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of customer-facing experience in consulting, solution architecture, business analysis, or a similar role
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business challenges and deliver strategic, high-impact solutions
Proven track record of entering ambiguous environments and driving toward structured, evidence-based outcomes
Comfort operating across both strategic and tactical registers — advising executives on direction, then rolling up sleeves to build the thing
Strong project/time management skills and excellent written and verbal communication with executive and technical stakeholders
A bias for ownership: you see what needs doing and you do it, rather than waiting to be told
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in management consulting, strategy, or transformation roles at firms where ambiguity was the norm
Familiarity with structured problem-solving frameworks (hypothesis-driven consulting, design thinking, systems thinking)
Background in building reusable solution accelerators, playbooks, or governance frameworks for clients
Hands-on experience with Atlassian products, ITSM, Agile, DevOps, PPM, or Enterprise Service Management, with relevant certifications (Atlassian, SAFe, ITIL, PMP)
Working knowledge of data analysis, automation, and business intelligence tools
Experience with enterprise software implementation, integration, and migration projects
Why This Role Matters
You’ll help organizations solve mission-critical problems, delivering measurable, tangible value across the full engagement lifecycle
You’ll own the work end-to-end — from discovery to post-go-live support — as a trusted advisor, not a narrow, siloed function
You’ll work from intent rather than instruction, alongside senior leaders who set the outcomes and trust you to shape the path
