Sr. Governance & Strategy Consultant

FULL-TIME HYBRID PUBLIC SECTOR & HEALTHCARE HIRE

You’re the kind of PPM or ITSM leader who brings order to complex governance, earns trust with state agency stakeholders, and turns ambiguity into a clear operating model. At Oxalis, that’s exactly who we need.

Location & Work Mode

  • Hybrid — based in or near one of our hub cities (Portland, Seattle, Austin, Bay Area, SoCal, Chicago, St. Louis, New York, or NCR/D.C. metro), with periodic visits to that hub.

What You’ll Own

  • Strategic delivery leadership — partner with client stakeholders to guide program strategy and delivery approach on a mission-critical engagement
  • Governance & process design — design, refine, and document governance models and process definitions for Strategy Collection and/or Service Collection domains
  • Thought leadership — bring PPM or enterprise ITSM best practices to shape how client teams plan, prioritize, and deliver work
  • Cross-team collaboration — align with Oxalis delivery teams and client leadership on standards, methodology, and outcomes
  • Stakeholder engagement — build trusted, long-term relationships with client program leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in PPM (Project/Portfolio Management) or enterprise ITSM
  • Experience designing governance frameworks and process definitions for large, complex organizations
  • Comfortable operating as a strategic thought partner and advisor, not just an implementer
  • Experience in public sector, healthcare, or other complex, regulated environments preferred
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with client stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Why This Role Matters

  • You’ll help shape governance and process for a program with real, tangible impact on public health services
  • Direct collaboration with client leadership as a strategic thought partner, not a back-office function
  • A chance to bring structure and best practice to a program serving a state health agency
