Ten years ago, Oxalis was founded on a simple observation, the industries that needed technology the most were getting the least from it. That hasn't changed. That's still the work.
When Jonathan Malanche founded Oxalis in 2016, the name was intentionally chosen. Oxalis is a genus of wood sorrel, a plant known for its resilience, its adaptability, and its presence across wildly different environments and cultures. It endures. It finds a way.
The name was chosen as a metaphor. Oxalis bridges the human and the technological. People-led relationships on one side, real technology outcomes on the other. Our logo is a digital rendering of the Oxalis plant and a reminder of what we were built to do.
Results start with people. Every Oxalis engagement is led by consultants who are genuinely connected to the industry and the people they're serving, not just the technology.
Caring isn't enough. Oxalis builds and implements solutions that actually do what they set out to do.
The measure of every engagement is its lasting impact. We build solutions that leave something behind, for the client and for the industry.
Oxalis was founded in 2016 in the Pacific Northwest by Jonathan Malanche, a technology leader who spent nearly two decades integrating enterprise systems at Deloitte, Hitachi, and Nike Digital, and who kept seeing the same gap: the organizations that needed the most from technology were getting the least.
We started where that gap was clearest: maritime, government, and defense. We grew by going deep, not broad. We became an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner. An IFS Specialized Partner. An AWS GovCloud authorized partner. We built OAE, OSRA, YardOS (coming soon) from scratch because nothing on the market was designed for ship repair.
Today, Oxalis is a team of 45+ consultants, engineers, and builders operating from offices in Hillsboro (OR), Petaluma (CA), the DC Metro area, and Guadalajara with engagements across a variety of highly-regulated industries. We're growing rapidly year over year, doing it carefully, with deep consideration for the team and the culture that got us here.
We lead with purpose and accountability, in every engagement, every decision, and every client relationship.
We take time to understand your world before we try to change it. Your mission becomes our mission.
We invest in our people and our craft, constantly expanding our expertise so our clients can benefit from what's next.
We don't cut corners. We deliver work that is secure, auditable, and built to last.
We ask better questions. That relentless curiosity is what helps us find solutions others miss.
